Learn More About Who We Are
Spotlight: Lewisville Motor Company | Winston-Salem, NC
In May 2022, Lewisville Motor Company entered an exciting new chapter by joining the Aesop family. This partnership strengthened our future while preserving the values and legacy that have defined us for decades.
Founded by WWII veteran Herb Myers, the business began as a small salvage operation born from opportunity and hard work. After gaining experience in Duke Power’s bus body shop, Herb saw value where others saw scarcity, and by the early 1960s, he became sole owner, laying the groundwork for a company rooted in integrity and resourcefulness.
That foundation carried forward when Herb’s son, Marty Myers, joined the business full-time after high school, later alongside his wife, Donna. Together, they embraced innovation, introducing computer systems in 1988 and continuously adapting to an evolving industry. In 2012, the third generation joined the team when Justin Myers, a UNC Wilmington business graduate, came on board. Justin’s leadership journey includes serving as General Manager, transitioning to Regional Sales Manager, and currently holding the role of Vice President of Purchasing and Pricing at Aesop.
Serving body shops, garages, and individual customers, Lewisville Motor Company maintains an inventory of more than 200,000 quality recycled parts, with strong over-the-counter sales and a reputation for reliability.
Today, as part of the Aesop family, Lewisville Motor Company continues to thrive with a team of more than 35 dedicated employees. Together, they combine decades of local expertise with Aesop’s scale and support to deliver affordable, high-quality recycled parts, while staying committed to their community, environmental stewardship, and the values that built the business.

Improving Our Processes to Better Serve You
Across Aesop, we’ve held monthly sessions where our teams take a hard look at how work actually moves through our yards, from the time a vehicle arrives to when a part ships to your shop.
These sessions help us find the friction that causes delays, rework, or inconsistencies. Once we see it, we fix it. The goal is simple: make our operations smoother so your experience is better.
Here’s what that means for you:
– Faster, more reliable production and delivery timing
– Better quality checks before parts ship
– Fewer warranty issues caused by process gaps
– More consistency from yard to yard
Each month we focus on a different location or department, then share what works across the network. By tightening up how we do things on our end, we’re working to deliver parts faster, more accurately, and with fewer problems, so you can keep moving without interruptions.
At the end of the day, better processes on our side mean fewer delays and better parts on yours.

What Matters to Your Shop Right Now
Repair vs. Replace: The Shift Continues
Rising new-part costs and ongoing supply chain delays are pushing more insurers and shops to prioritize repairing components and sourcing quality recycled OEM parts. Shops that build strong recycler relationships are seeing faster cycle times and better margins.
Vehicle Technology Is Raising the Bar
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), sensors, and electric vehicle components continue to change how repairs are approached. Even minor repairs increasingly require calibration, documentation, and proper part sourcing, making accuracy more important than ever.
Sustainability Is Becoming a Selling Point
Customers and insurers alike are paying more attention to environmental impact. Using recycled OEM parts isn’t just cost-effective — it’s becoming a competitive advantage for shops looking to differentiate and align with insurer and consumer expectations.
Labor Shortages Aren’t Going Away
The technician shortage remains one of the industry’s biggest challenges. Shops that streamline workflows, reduce rework, and partner with reliable suppliers are better positioned to keep vehicles moving despite limited labor.
Staying informed, and adaptable, is key as the industry continues to evolve. We’re committed to supporting shops with dependable parts, fast service, and industry insight you can use.
