Gravely Auto Parts, in Axton, VA, joined the Aesop family in 2021 as our second yard, expanding our ability to serve customers with a broader range of quality recycled parts. Since becoming part of Aesop, Gravely has continued its long-standing tradition of reliable service while benefiting from the resources and support of a larger network.
Today, Aesop has grown to 20 locations across the Midwest and East Coast, offering both Full-Service and Self-Service yards to meet the diverse needs of our customers. With this extensive footprint, we’ve built one of the industry’s largest inventories of recycled OEM parts. Our scale allows us to ship parts nationwide while also delivering locally with a fleet of over 150 trucks on the road every day, ensuring our customers get the right part quickly and reliably.

United Recyclers Group (URG), the largest membership organization for automotive recyclers in the U.S., was recently highlighted on All Access with Andy Garcia, a nationally distributed Public Television program. The segment showcased how modern automotive recycling has evolved far beyond the outdated “junkyard” image.
Viewers saw how URG members operate high-tech facilities that dismantle, test, and certify millions of recycled OEM parts each year, keeping tons of material out of landfills and saving an estimated 85 million barrels of oil annually. The program also demonstrated how recycled parts help reduce repair costs for consumers, while contributing to sustainability and supporting a strong, collaborative industry community.
This feature helped reshape public perception of auto recycling, highlighting its vital role in affordability, safety, and environmental stewardship.
